Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2025

We’re here to make beautiful, meaningful content - and part of that is being clear about how we work. These Terms & Conditions help set expectations and keep things smooth for everyone involved.

1. Final Deliverables vs Raw Footage

The agreed project fee covers the final delivered content only.
Access to raw footage is not included and must be purchased separately. If you’d like to request raw footage, please get in touch and we’ll provide a quote (subject to availability).

2. Footage Storage + Archiving

We retain original footage from your shoot for up to 12 months after the filming date. After this, footage may be permanently deleted.
We take care to store your content safely, but we are not liable for loss, corruption or deletion of files during or after this period. Clients are welcome to request purchase of unused footage (if available) within that timeframe.

3. Delivery & Download Policy

Final content will be delivered via digital link (typically Google Drive).
We ask that you download and safely store all your files within 14 days of delivery. After that, the files may be removed from our servers.
If files are removed and you need us to retrieve archived content, a retrieval fee may apply (if the files are still available).

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand things change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a shoot, please let us know as soon as possible.

Cancellation fees may apply, depending on the nature, scale, and timing of the production - and will be discussed with you upon your request to cancel. This includes consideration of crew, gear hire, and location bookings.

We’ll always aim to find a fair solution, but please note that cancellations made with short notice (including weather-related changes) may incur fees from 30% of the production fee.

5. Creative Scope & Revisions

Our quotes are based on a clearly outlined creative scope.
If changes are requested outside that scope (e.g. additional shooting days, major edit shifts), we’ll discuss and quote accordingly. Your satisfaction is our priority - but so is respecting the time and work involved.

6. Usage & Licensing

All content is licensed for the usage agreed upon in your project scope - usually including digital, social, and internal use. If you’d like to use your video in other formats (e.g. TV, cinema, paid advertising), let’s talk about extending the license.

7. Credits & Promotion

We love to share the work we create - unless otherwise agreed in writing, Tide Productions reserves the right to feature finished work across our portfolio, website, and social media.
